My Shadow:
Assertive and adamant as far as I know,
shadows always bother me, where ever I go.

They won't question nor do they answer,
why am I suppose to suffer its torture?

I too want a moment alone on my own,
sometimes being disgruntled I even frown.

Haunting me in every nook and cranny,
never blows apart nor bothers a penny.


How stupid of me I then realized,
shadows are the best companion ,
on whom you can always confide,

Either in grief or in sorrow,
may it be today or tomorrow.

Loitering around with hand in hand,
along the bushes and fantasy land.

My shadow never leaves me alone,
as the seasons grow, so grows its throne,

I saw the brighter side of shadow,
their devotion to the master is worth a bow,

they will always walk beside you,
when you are deserted by all,
they will satisfy and accompany you.


Seldom, thoughts hover onto mine,
however trustworthy and silent shadows are ,

they still leave you alone in the darkest time.
